Dear Dr Wael thank you for the comment. Nutcracker Syndrome is a common name for compression of all the things that are lodged in the space between SMA and abdominal aorta, they are from upward : left renal vein, which may be retro-aortic, circum-aortic, uncinate process of the pancreas and last one third portion of the duodenum. As the left gonadal vein enters into the left renal vein, left sided varicocele is much more common than the right one in this syndrome,  becaue of the right gonadal vein is inserting directly into the vena cava.

Nutcracker phenomenon is another syndrome in which renal vein is compressed between SMA and aorta (anterior nutcracker); posterior nutcracker is compressed artery between aorta and spine.
