The angle between horns should be less than 70 and a fundal outward convexity should be seen to diagnoses septate uterus. Bicornuate unicolis has reverse criteria that angle more than 110 and fundal outward concavity should be obtained. Bicornuate uterus sometimes called funnel-shaped or heart-shaped uterus. Uterus sub-septus has shorter septum. Didelphys uterus has tow cervices due to complete separation of Mullerian ducts. Bicornuate bicolis could have similar appearance to didelphys uterus. Angle between horns of 70-110 may give possibilities of either bicornuate or septate uterus; fundal contour is the criterion to differentiate both entities.
