LIVER HEMANGIOSARCOMA: Abdomen Ultrasound in Emergency (fig. 1)

Case Study:
Female patient 46 y hold, born in Morocco, arrived to the
Emergency Room for an atypical abdominal pain crisis.
She was unresponsive to painkillers and antispasmodics.
She showed a visible and discrete anemic context.

ULTRASOUND (Color and Power Doppler)
Large (over 15 cm.) expansive hypervascular middle lesion (epi-meso-gastric) of doubtful origin (liver, gut, mesentery, pancreas?).

Not showed here:
Another inhomogeneous vascularised focal lesion in the right hepatic lobe (about 5 cm.).
Other inhomogeneous vascularized mass (about 4 cm.) in the left hypochondrium of doubtful
origin (spleen, left kidney?).
Moderate amount of ascites over/under mesocolic.
