Osteopetrosis

Neonate with typical features of autosomal recessive type of osteopetrosis. Note widened costo-chondral junctions; typical metaphyseal lucent bands and lost bony cortico-medullary differentiation. Incidentally seen is large scrotal hernia containing bowel loops and probably fecal matter.
