Middle aged man with Type B aortic dissection. Underwent successful endovascular stenting. 2 weeks later developed fever and back pain. What happened ??

Very good: periprotesic infection with spondilodiscitis and vetebral fracture !

DV8-DV10 are showing anterior wedging causing focal gibbus formation. The same vertebral bodies as well as DV11 and upper endplate of DV12 are showing sclerosis. Disk spaces are maintained. But the history and clinical findings suggestive of pyogenic collapse rather than traumatic.
