joubert syndrome :

It is an extremely rare genetic disorder.
There is an absence or underdevelopment of part of the brain called the cerebellar vermis, which controls balance and coordination. There is also a malformed brain stem.
an autosomal recessive syndrome

It was discovered by Marie Joubert in 1968.
