CT features:
well-circumscribed enhancing mass if of a smaller size.
Calcification can occur in up to 50% of the cases, particularly those located in the pelvis.
No difference between the CT appearance of the hyaline-vascular or plasma cell types.
Smaller lesions (<5 cm in diameter) tended to display homogeneous contrast enhancement whereas
larger tumors (>5 cm) displayed heterogeneous enhancement, with low-attenuation areas consistent with necrosis.
But for its imaging appearance, larger abdominal Castleman disease may mimic any visceral neoplasm.
