Man 62 y/o with chest pain and newly formed tissue in the left anterior superior mediastinal lodge.
Surgical specimen: mediastinal mass and subclavian vein.
Histology:
after biopsy: neuroendocrine carcinoma of intermediate-grade.
after surgery: neuro endocrine markers of chromogranin and neuron specific enolase positive.
