CLINIC of NEUROBLASTOMA:
• diagnosed on occasional standard X-Ray;
• coughing, wheezing, malaise, and spinal cord compression;
• presence of opsoclonus and poly-myoclonus syndrome;
(cerebellar and trunk ataxia) and the dancing eyes
-> favorable prognosis;
• chronic diarrhea -> VIP (increase of peristalsis and
secretion; decrease of fluids reabsorption);
• high blood pressure, sweating, rash -> secretion of
vasoactive amines.

Laboratory Studies
Serum and urinary catecholamine levels, including vanillylmandelic acid and metanephrine levels.
Twenty-four–hour urinary VMA, homovanillic acid, and metanephrine levels.
