MDCT investigation for check a previous left bronchopneumonia

1 and 2 sagittal MPR) :
Inhomogeneous wall thickening and disruption of segmental
apex--dorsal bronchus of the left upper lobe.
The small gauge of the bronchus would not have allowed an useful fiber-bronchoscopic exploration.

a) Analog Bronchoscopy to compare the performance of
virtual endoscopy.

b) Left Proximal Virtual Bronchoscopy :
regular appearance of the bifurcation of the Upper Left
lobar bronchus.

c) Left Distal Virtual Bronchoscopy of apex--dorsal bronchus:
clear and widespread mucosal irregularities (nodular and
stenosing) of the segmental bronchus.
