This young female patient presented with chronic pelvic pain. The plain radiograph shows a lucency in the pelvis with a calcific density (more or less tooth-shaped) at the periphery (arrow). This is classical of a dermoid cyst with tooth.
Possible complications include:
1. Rupture
2. Torsion
3. Rarely, malignant change
