Developmental Venous Anomaly

Also known as a venous angioma, a developmental venous anomaly (DVA) is a venous malformation in the brain. The DVA in this patient exhibits the classic caput medusae of veins draining into a larger vein which, in this case, then drains into the cavernous sinus.
