HIP JOINT:-

-SCLEROTIC LESION IN RT HP JOINT,,WITH NARROWING JOINT.

-IRREGULAR MARGN OF HEAD OF FEMOR,,WITH OBSCURED THE CAPITAL PART OF NECK OF FEMOR,,INDICATED TO FRATURE LINE.

-PRESERVED OTHER PART BONE.

-PICTURE OF PATHOLOGIC FRACTURE RELATED TO AVSCULAR NECROSIS(LEGG-CALVE-PERTHES DISEASE).

Dear Dr Lokhande, amazing for me was the narrowing of the joint space with geodes around acetabulum. With avascular necrosis joint space should be increased because of cephalic collapse of the femor. This one is nearly ankylosis. However it was a nice case. Thank you for triggering discussion.

Nice case,Degenerative changes in post-arthritis. Was it due to tuberculosis?
