56 year old female had a severe episode of nausea and vomiting

Hemorrhage is typically subarachnoid (SAH) but may also be intraparenchymal, intraventricular, and/or (rarely) extracerebral (i.e., SDH) in location. Certainly, SAH is most common and, while strict correlations are lacking, some general patterns between the distribution of SAH and the site of ruptured aneurysm exist
