AORTIC DISSECTION

CT ABDOMEN in a patient with history of abdomen demonstrated:Aortic dissection involving the aortic root. Trace pericardial effusion.Aortic dissection involving the descending thoracic aorta, abdominal aorta and extending to the bilateral common femoral arteries bilaterally.Both true and false lumens were filled with contrast with an ill defined hypodensity in the true lumen, likely related to sluggish flow.
