This accessory epiphysis, as you have noticed, is temporary and in growing child it becomes as the ordinary proximal epiphysis, that is why i call it ABORTIVE epiphysis. If it remains whole life it would be a supernumerary carpal bone, and this one, as you know, is a rarity!

Are you agree with Pseudoepiphysis or accessory epiphysis for the other names of this normal variant ? is the same ?
