This was to confirm that hypertrophy of the psoas muscle depends on the activity of lower limb, and vice versa. Psoas muscle shadow is the main point to notice in the retroperitoneum, its upper margin is made by the perirenal fat, and its lower margin by the pararenal fat, so it is the main point to remind the integrity of the retroperitoneal compartmentalized situation.
