FIRST IMAGE SHOWED MIDDLE MEDIASTINAL MASS,,

-SECOND IMAGE AFTER BARIUM SWALLO AT AP VIEW SHOWED BULGING MASS AT RIGHT SIDE OF THE CHEST FROM MIDPATHWAY OF OESOPHAGUS,WITH DILATED LOWER END OF IT,,,AS WELL AS SPARING MUCOSAL FOLDS AT ENTRANCE IN STOMACH.

-PICTURE OF ACHALASIA WITH DIVERTICULUM

-HERE WE RULE OUT THE MALIGNANTDUE :-

1/SMOOTH MARGIN OF MASS.

2/NO ULCERATIVE LESION.

3/NO STRICTURE NEAR THE MASS AND NO SHOULDERING SIGN.

Thank you very much. Lack of gastric air bubble, a leading sign for achalasia, is demonstrated by a star.
