To diagnose atresia of the upper gastrointestinal tube a simple radiography of the abdomen looks cost-effectively enough. The number of the air bubbles we get: atresia locates at stomach,first, second or third part of duodenum. But for the jejunal or ileal atresia it is different: there is only one common sign i.e. microcolon and only its appearance may determine the time of its occurrence.
