Yes, it is ascending colon and distended because of general ileus caused by cecal gangrene.

In the left lateral decubitus film, gas fluid level on the right side of abdomen appears to be a large bowel loop. If it is so than would U please clarify?

Yes dear, it is a lateral decubitus view and other views are there and numbered on the main. If you are keen on the plain films of abdomen they are diagnostic by themselves and in emergency state there is no need to go further like this one, operated on the basis of plain film's findings.
