Presence of the appendicolith and compression effect of the phlegmon on the cecum and terminal ileum and non filling of the appendix are all very characteristic of appendicitis, But about CT, I agree with you, it is not specific for appendicitis, any other process could imitate the appearance,.

actually..I couldn't visualize the appendicitis on CT, but also couldn't give a diagnosis on Ba enema

Which one is more reliable? CT(2) or barium enema (1)?
