MRI-brain, axial reconstruction. Patient complaints: partial loss of hearing in left ear, ringing in left ear, slight numbness on left side of the face around the ear and onto forehead. No severe headaches, no discharge from the ear.

What is your diagnosis?

The Dx is still open. Local guys cant figure it out:-) The post gad sequence doesnt show anything in this region either. Local Rads say the vessels are all fine too.

Glomus timpanicus tumour? Any other sequences (T2, T1 post-gad) ?

funny. i'm really not sure what might cause that. doesn't look like a mass though. Then again, i'm not Mr.Head MR. Nice image, i'll watch for the Dx :)
