MR,CT and Tumor Perfusion

I wanted to share with you our MR Perfusion (CTp and Tumor available late summer) post processing software that addresses some of the areas outlined at ASNR 2010 as issues with current solutions such as the lack of standards and a quick and simple accurate method to quantify infarcted tissue and ischemic penumbra as well as a fast reliable method to recognize/identify TIA's.

Leading experts such as Dr Marc Fisher (UMass), Dr. Greg Sorensen (MGH), Dr Ken Butcher (University of Alberta, Canada), are, among others, members of our advisory board.

Our solution is simple to use and fast. It is FDA-cleared and has no equivalent up to date. It works on all MR scanners and any PACS system so you get the same results from all your different MR scanners.

PerfScape™ allows to compute instantaneously perfusion maps through deconvolution utilizing our automatic select AIF (standard or circular) from raw MRI data, including an TMax map with published thresholds - see (Albers/Defuse study).

NeuroScape™ makes an instant multiparametric analysis of all modalities given by the MR scanners, and enables physicians to quantify the lesion volume, hypoperfused volume, and the mismatch diffusion/perfusion ratio in cubic centimeters. Perfusion and Diffusion maps instantly presented in a single view DashBoard format. Diagnosis is clear in less than 3 minutes.

All artifacts are removed: noise, bolus recirculation, skull, and CSF to provide greater accuracy.

As you will see attached, the NINDS/NIH led by Dr Warach has chosen to use our software to define PWI/DWI thresholds to better assess salvageable penumbral areas.
