For many Americans, Sundays are a day to relax with family, but for the staff of Zwanger Pesiri Radiology Group on Long Island, one Sunday a month, they are working. Because more than 300,000 are uninsured on Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk Counties according to Medical Director and ACR member Steven Mendelsohn, MD, the group has started a program called “Give Back Sundays” in which local uninsured patients receive necessary diagnostic imaging services at no cost.

That's very generous.
not a bad idea, uninsured patients often don't receive diagnostic imaging from community clinics, although they do from county hospitals (oftentimes more than a well-insured patient). It is also a great way to gain local publicity + contracts from county hospitals ;)

I would consider it, though it will be a long long time before I actually practice :D
