Join the AIUM and save on registration fees!This 3-day comprehensive course will cover the techniques and applications of diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound in the major joint regions of the body. For each joint region, faculty will demonstrate a diagnostic ultrasound protocol, review common pathologies, and describe relevant ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. Each participant will complete more than 13 hours of hands-on training, including needle tracking skills, ultrasound machine controls, scanning on live models, and performing ultrasound-guided procedures on unembalmed cadavers. Special topics to be discussed include ultrasound applications in rheumatology and following total joint replacement, principles of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, platelet rich plasma, and updates on practice accreditation and certification for musculoskeletal ultrasound.
