Each participant will complete more than 13 hours of hands-on training, including needle tracking skills, ultrasound machine controls, scanning on live models, and performing ultrasound-guided procedures on unembalmed cadavers. Special topics to be discussed include ultrasound applications in rheumatology and following total joint replacement, principles of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, platelet rich plasma, and updates on practice accreditation and certification for musculoskeletal ultrasound.
