Cream Room
This room faces front (south) and has a queen size bed. It has a desk. Share a bathroom. Price is $1250 for 4 weeks.
Master Bedroom w/ Private Bath
This is the master bedroom and faces north. It has a queen size bed, desk, TV and a deluxe private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub, glass shower, and separate toilet room. Price is $1650 for 4 weeks. (One person only - can not be shared with another resident)
1st Floor Room
This room faces front (south) and has a full size bed. It has a desk. Share a bathroom. Price is $1150 for 4 weeks.
Third Floor Apartment
This area is on the top floor of the house and is very quiet. There is a bedroom with 2 twin beds (pushed together to make a king), a private bath, and a kitchen/living room/dining area with cable TV. Price is $1750 for 4 weeks. (One person only - can not be shared with another resident)

Basement Apartment
Two bedroom (smaller bedroom can be used as an office) fully furnished basement apartment with full kitchen and bathroom, washer/dryer, separate entrance and wireless Internet connection. There is no land line phone connection. Residents must bring their own cell phones and laptops. Across the street from Walter Reed and near bus/metro lines. $1750 for 4 weeks.

1305 Fern Street is a former Ambassadorial residence, conveniently located across from Walter Reed. The AFIP entrance is located at the end of the block. The residence features a large sun-lit vaulted 2-story living room with a balcony and fireplace. There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor. All bedrooms are for single occupancy only. The rooms are spacious, approximately 12'x12', fully carpeted, have been freshly painted in decorator colors, with custom drapes, coordinated bed accessories, desk, chair, and cable television for your private viewing. Linen, towels and housekeeping are provided. The house is Internet ready. A lower level apartment is available for 2 AFIP participants. This is the only shared space in the home! The apartment is huge approximately 1300 square feet in size.

North Room
The North Room is on the first floor and has a twin bed, heated therapeutic lounge chair with ottoman, cable television, and shared bath. The price is $1650 for 4 weeks.

East Room
The East Room is on the first floor and has a full bed, a private quarter bath (which means you can wash up in the privacy of your own room), a lounge chair, ottoman, cable television, and a shared full bath. The price is $1750 for 4 weeks.

West Room
West Room (NEW) is on the first floor. It has a twin bed, lounge chair, ottoman, cable television, and a shared full bath. The price is $1650 for 4 weeks.

Lower Level Apartment 1 & 2
The lower level apartment accomodates 2 AFIP participants. The decor is Art Deco with a custom 10 foot chrome wet bar. Each person has their own seperate living, dining, sleeping and sitting areas with cable television. Areas are approximately 33'x21' and 26'x15'. A half bath, a quarter bath and a full kithcen are also on this level. All areas are fully carpeted. $1,750 per person.

***All rooms have similar furnishings which include a full or queen size bed (with linens and towels) , a desk, a chest of drawers, and a closet or wardrobe. The common areas include a kitchen, living room with cable TV, dining area, washer and dryer and ironing board. Free wireless Internet is available - bring your own laptop at 1211 Fern.

Please note: All rooms are for one person including the 2 apartments. Residents in the 2 apartments can have their spouses visit but cannot share with another resident taking the course.
