what's the status on AFIP closure?

The last reference I saw to closure was a April,2007 comment in Science that closure was deferred pending review. Has anyone heard any updates?

AFIP is no longer going to be closed. It has been shortened to 4 weeks from 6 weeks but no worries - it WILL stay open until further notice from what we hear.
