Connecting Radiology | Enabling collaboration and professional development

Hello,

I'm working on a health actuarial project and needed an information. I'm hoping people would be able to help me out.

I need information on the average number of x-ray reads that a diagnostic radiologist performs in a given year in the United States. I've gone crazy surfing the web and found a few websites putting the number at 14,900. Now that's crazy - boiling down to 8 reads an hour.

Can anyone please help me out with the most updated figure. Shall be very grateful if anyone can.

Thanks,
Priyam
