does anyone know how I can merge 2 images from different studies in Osirix? I would like to merge images from Diffusion MRI with CT-images of the same body area, or even with other MRI images.

hi erik,
first you will open those two images on the screen.
Than you will grab the little icon at the top of the desired image (which is just right to the 3 icons, + x - icons at the left top), and drag&drop it into the other image on the screen. now you will click "fusion" on the newcoming little window.
If i could not explain it good. please let me know.

Hi Nurettin

OK that works! I work with a MAC and only see 3 buttons (+,x,-) in the left upper corner. In the middle is an icon which I can grab and move. The next problem is to chose a FUSION plug-in (in only can find 1). Then I can only fuse 2 series with exactly the same number of images. Any way to surpass that?

thx 4 your help
erik, this is a simple fusion function in osirix. you will find a more dedicated plugin in www.imagingbiometrics.com for osirix. you can evaluate that plugin for 14 days.
take care
