Available Position – MD Consultant

Easton Associates is looking for a board certified physician to join our consulting staff in New York City.

 

Consultants are integral members of EA teams and contribute to all levels of the consulting process.  EA Consultants are responsible for the day-to-day management of consulting assignments and have regular interactions with clients.  Specific responsibilities include: analyzing scientific, clinical, financial and strategic information to discern the business implications of new technologies and emerging trends; conducting primary research interviews with clinicians, thought leaders, and executives in the healthcare industry and related fields; managing and mentoring junior staff; and preparing and presenting written reports to EA senior management and clients. 

 

EA takes a long term approach toward hiring. Consultants follow a clearly defined career path and continue to deepen their knowledge in the field of healthcare and the practice of consulting.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

A candidate with a medical degree who has completed a residency (preferably in internal medicine, family practice, or emergency medicine) and passed their licensing exam; fellowship experience is also valuable but not required.  Qualified candidates must be able to understand and clearly communicate the clinical and business implications of technically complex products and services.   Candidates should possess strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills.  Candidates should be strong team players, take initiative, and think strategically and creatively.
