Guys, this is what happened to me. Please read and let your freinds know about my mistake. I have posted this on Dotmed dishonest forum and AuntMinnie as well.
I have wired $9793.00 on June 9th 2011 to Mr. Daniel Giesberg for 2 pairs of medical monitors. Prior to payment, I’ve been told by Daniel Giesberg the monitors are in a hospital in Germany and will be shipped out in 2 weeks. So I thought that is fine and I can wait 2 weeks. Every time I have called Daniel Giesberg for an update a new story came up. First it was the hospital wasn’t ready to ship them out. Then the packaging is taking more than usual, and then it was the cost of shipping more than what was quoted then there is a problem with DHL’s pickup scheduling system. It has been over 40 days since I have transferred the money into his account. Not only I have not received anything, but nothing has been done to address this issue. My problem is not any of this actually, my problem is Mr. Giesberg has gone to a two weeks vacation to Lake Tahoe with his family and you know what he is telling me? “I have forwarded the office number to my cell so call me anytime” While Daniel Giesberg is enjoying his shrimp cocktail by the pool and getting a message and having fun in lake Tahoe, I am sweating over the fact that as a small business owner I am down 10 grand and have to deal with the stress day and night. This may not be a lot of money to a lot of you, but I cannot afford it like this, especially in this economy. I’ve been trying to reach Daniel Giesberg in past few days and no contact what so ever from his end. You would think poor guy is relaxing in Lake Tahoe and doesn’t have internet access, but mysteriously, his listings on dotmed are getting updated. I will take actions against him as I lost faith on his word. Moral of this story is learn from my mistake and do not ever buy from someone who is selling someone else’s inventory. Majority of his equipments are not in his possession and he only list them online for sale. At least pay with credit card in cases like this it would be a lot easier to get your money back. I will be taking legal actions against Mr. Giesberg and make sure he gets a good idea of how this business must be done. Maybe he rethinks his way of doing business in the future. If any of you need any paper work from me. Copy of emails, copy of wire transfer forms, I have saved his voice mails on my computer and anything just shoot me an email and I will provide you with the information.
