Summary of Key Responsibilities: Perform medical imaging processing as described in the procedure/protocol manual, consistently maintaining a high level of quality and productivity. Operate all relevant equipment and computer systems, including RIS/PACS, with proficiency, and make recommendations for software improvements. Review requisitions to determine proper study; Interview patients for medical history; Prepare patients for exams; Exhibit understanding of advanced radiological imaging techniques. Produce and manipulate images for interpretation by radiologists, surgeons and referring physicians to create diagnostic and treatment planning images. Provide excellent care and service to patients. Explain exams, contrast, positioning, etc to patients. Screen patients. Assist and train radiologists, referring physicians, resident physicians, physician assistants and others, in the operation and uses of 3D medical workstations and thin client 3D workstations.

Position Requirements:
ARRT, CT and/or MRI Certification
Connecticut State Radiology License
Prior work-related experience in MRI and/or CT
CPR certification preferred
Expert knowledge of anatomy
Knowledge of the function and use of 3D advanced imaging equipment
Ability to perform intravenous injections
Excellent communication skills
Excellent patient care skills
Computer experience

Going to be a hard job to fill as proper 3D techies are hard to come by. We exist as a stand alone 3D lab if you can't find anyone to do the 3D work yourself. Your technologists can take the images then send them to the 3D Lab for reconstruction. If interested contact me at:
