POSITION: CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

COMPENSATION: $225K - $275K

Our client, a large, privately-held, independent health-care communication company based in Philadelphia is seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Medical Officer to join our management team and take on leadership of our Medical Communications company, with direct accountability for all related services.


Resume and portfolio should exhibit evidence of the following:

 Demonstrable leadership skills
 Candidates must have an advanced degree MD, or PhD
 10+ years healthcare sector continuing education, communication, or
 Thorough knowledge of regulatory framework including accreditation regulations (ACCME, ANCC, ACPE, CDR, and others), FDA regulations pertaining to industry involvement in scientific and educational activities, professional codes of ethics such as AMA and PhRMA
 Pharmaceutical and biotech industry knowledge including phases of product development and role of education and promotion throughout product life cycle
 Active in industry associations
 Strong communication skills
 The ideal candidate will have the ability to synthesize clinical and scientific data and will possess a strong sense of initiative. He or she must be able to work effectively with various internal and external clients to produce an excellent, profitable product on time and within budget. He or she must establish and consistently meet deadlines.
