Description:
CIR Equity Research is seeking an Associate in the biotechnology sector.
In this position you will be responsible for conducting physician
surveys, conducting due diligence on biotechnology products, writing
industry/company reports, attending industry and medical conferences,
preparing written material for First Call notes, and financial modeling.
Other responsibilities include servicing selective institutional and
retail clients and attending company meetings, in support of the senior
analyst coverage.
Qualifications:
Team is seeking for someone with graduate level work in medicine or
science or substantial industry experience. Prior equity research
experience, work in industry, or medical practice is a plus but not
required. This is the perfect opportunity for someone seeking to combine
their knowledge of science and interest in finance. The ideal candidate
must be a self-starter, detail-oriented team player and possesses strong
analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency with both Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Ability to
understand statistical methods in clinical trial designs is a plus. A
strong interest in the equity markets is a must. This position is in
New York City.
