I'm the owner of a Diagnostic Center and would like to get some advice on experiences that any one might have on the GE 2000d mamography system. I'm also considering the Lorad Selenia. Please direct any advice to TomTDM@aol.com.
Maintenance problems ? Quality issues ? Time to perform Study ?

thanks

Hologic Selenia is best. I prefer this over GE for sure. I used GE in the past, can do the job but we use all Hologic equipment and we are very satisfied!

Solid state is the way to go - Hologic is the leader in this!! We use it and Hologic equipment is great. Quality issues are good. Support is also good. Time to perform study is comparable. The interface is also better on the "PACS"/digital viewbox.

Hi Thomas,

I am not an expert on which system is best for your center but I do have access to previously owned 2000D and Selenia. I believe I can save you a lot of money as well as install it and have it under the vendor’s service contract. We should discuss if you have the time. My contact information is below and you can see some of our equipment on our website www.medexchange.com.

Have a great day,

Davyn

Hi Tom, Did you end up making a decision on the digital mammo you were researching? If there is anything I can do to help please let me know. Davyn
I would like to know more about this as well. I noticed that there are a lot of 2000D's up for sale on dotmed so that makes me wonder if they are any good. can anyone give us an idea about these machine and what we have to look for when trying to purchase a digital mamo?
