NYU Neuroradiology Fellowship Opening posted 6/27/08

Due to the restructuring of our fellowship program we now have openings for 1 year Diagnostic Neuroradiology fellows at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. The program provides training in the performance and interpretation of all diagnostic neuroradiologic procedures (i.e., MRI, CT, digital angiography, myelography). Trainees receive extensive experience in head and neck imaging. Echo planar examinations emphasizing functional perfusion and diffusion imaging and MR spectroscopy are performed routinely. Correlation of radiologic and clinical findings is emphasized. There are extensive opportunities for clinical research for the interested candidate. The Neuroradiology Section performs approximately 2000 invasive procedures, 6000 MRI studies, and 7000 CT examinations utilizing a large number of state-of-the-art imaging systems.
