Message from Brown/Rhode Island Hospital Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program - Unexpected IR fellowship opening for 2009-2010

We have 2 unexpected ACGME accredited fellowship openings for 2009-10 at Brown Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital in vascular and interventional radiology. Our program is very well rounded with a busy and diverse case mix including PAD, UAE, liver tumor therapy (thermal ablation, chemoembo, SIRT), carotid stents, vertebroplasty, neuorinterventional (NO neuro fellow- aneurysm coiling, AVM embo, stroke lysis), endovenous thermal ablation of varicose veins, dialysis access, urological and gastroenterological interventions, etc. We have a free standing office for consultations and followup. We cover a level one trauma center tertiary care university hospital (>700 beds), local teaching community hospital, Women's and Infants hospital, and Hasbro children's hospital.
