Job Posting: Boutique Investment Firm Seeking MD, MD/PhD, or PhD

Boutique Investment Bank with strong focus in healthcare, based in NYC with offices across the country, is looking for an associate with an MD or PhD to work with the biotechnology equity research team.

* Prior equity research experience preferred, but not required, so this would be an ideal opportunity for a recent MD or PhD graduate looking to break into equity research and financial services.
* A successful candidate will combine the strong medical/science background with strong writing and oral communication skills and the willingness to enthusiastically contribute to the biotech franchise.
* Must have ability to work efficiently and independently, work flexible hours, travel as required, and meet deadlines.
* Must have good working knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Will also consider candidates without an MD or PhD that have a combination of the following skills

* Equity research experience in biotech or pharma
* Investment banking experience in biotech or pharma
* Consulting experience in biotech or pharma
* MBA
* familiarity with financial modeling
* biotech or pharma industry experience
* other financial markets experience
