MEETING DESCRIPTION:
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
· Better identify subspecialty areas of radiology, including brain, spine, head and neck, chest, bone, cardiovascular, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, pediatric, mammography, nuclear medicine, oncology, general vascular and interventional radiology;
· Incorporate into their practice clinically important applications for newer imaging modalities such as diffusion weighted and cardiac CT/MR, virtual colonoscopy, PET/CT, and multichannel CT;
· Describe the most effective way to image patients with a variety of disease entities;
· Discuss the strengths and limitations of different diagnostic imaging procedures.
The target audience includes practicing radiologists and residents seeking a comprehensive review of Diagnostic Radiology.
