Event Description

Musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging has evolved into a powerful tool that requires a high degree of skill to navigate sonoanatomy using the latest instrumentation. This 1.5 day course will cover the basic techniques and applications of diagnostic and interventional sports/musculoskeletal ultrasound in the major joints of the body related to sports medicine injuries.

Educational Objectives

After attending The MSK Ultrasound Skills Course participants will:

Perform scans of peripheral joints
Recognize common musculoskeletal pathology
Perform therapeutic injections under ultrasound guidance
Improve patient outcomes by appropriately applying the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound into their practice
