MEETING DESCRIPTION:
Duke Mini-Review Course
This course replicates many of the lectures from the renowned Duke Radiology Review Course, which is easily one of the largest and most popular radiology review courses in the world. As many cannot attend the more comprehensive Duke review course offered in April, a smaller version in a resort setting, utilizing the same Duke faculty that teaches the larger original course, is being offered.
This course is intended for the private practice radiologist who would like a general radiology overview and the radiology resident who would like an opportunity to hear about general radiology topics before (or after) attending the more complete review course. A detailed program and syllabus will be given to each registrant at the meeting.
The aim of this course is to offer an across-the-board-overview of material which has everyday application. We invite you to join the faculty of the Duke University Radiology Department for a week of learning and relaxation.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Following participation in this activity, participants should be able to:
• Discuss imaging techniques including MRI, interventional techniques, MRA, helical and
multidetector CT and PET imaging.
• Review radiologic techniques including mammography, ultrasound imaging, abdominal and
neuro imaging.
