Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
Providing quality mammographic exams requires skill and knowledge beyond positioning and technique! The stereotactic core biopsy is both fast, accurate and highly technologist dependent. There is a 100% correlation between stereotactic biopsies and surgical biopsies in the diagnosis of two early stage conditions, atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH) and ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
