WHAT:
In 2009, for the first time, The Breast Course™ will be presented in Europe at the SAS-Radisson in Nice, France. CME-accredited, The Breast Course™ mission is to deliver high-quality accredited education focused on small, image-detected breast cancer. Aimed at specialists working in breast care, The Breast Course™ delivers best practices in the areas of diagnostic radiology, pathology, image-guided interventions, surgical techniques, and radiotherapy and brachytherapy treatments.
The course opens with live image-guided interventions, featuring the latest devices, broadcast via satellite in the conference hall, with two-way exchange with the experts. Besides comprehensive plenaries, The Breast Course™ features lively debates on interdisciplinary care and numerous case discussions. Further, almost half of the curriculum is devoted to frequent interactive workshops on stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided interventions, ultrasound imaging, and ultrasound-guided surgery, where participants get to try out equipment under the supervision of experts.
