Event Description
This four-hour course will provide vital radiation safety information to both the technologist and nontechnologist performing examinations in healthcare facilities today. Topics covered will include basic radiation safety, the role of the radiation safety program and the effects of ionizing radiation. Also covered will be radiation detection and personal protection methods related to ionizing radiation.
