Event Description

Diagnostic ultrasound has now evolved to become the most cost effective and efficient procedure in the arsenal of diagnostic imaging procedures. With the rising costs of health care, it is a matter of necessity to utilize cost effective, rapid and accurate ways to diagnose and treat patients at the “point of care”. This course will address emerging applications for the use of ultrasound in cardiovascular emergencies.

What happens after the FAST exam?

You are in a busy ER department or in a critical care setting, do you want to spend your time doing ultrasound or do you want answers to help you care for your patient in the quickest most efficient fashion.  This course will give you the training you need to rapidly assess your patient’s cardiac function and status, swollen, painful leg, and get a line started.  Get your answers quickly and treat your patient appropriately so you can save another life in the next room.
