Event Description
This intensive three-day course is directed toward the OB Ultrasound examination and sonographic evaluation of the gravid and non-gravid pelvis. With the utilization of both transabdominal and endovaginal approaches, the transducer can become an extension of the clinical examiation in the OB/Gyn healthcare setting. Advanced Health Education Center's training model for skills classes provides a systematic approach of presenting an overview of the instrumentation and physics related to ultrasound. Classroom presentation and hand-on scanning will be used to develop a foundation of knowledge related to normal maternal and feal anatomy.
