Event Description

Pink ribbons, commitment, and the never ending HOPE for a cure keeps us going in our mission of saving lives every day! You will love the interesting array of relevant topics in this new AHEC course that will benefit both you and your patient.

The AHEC mammography faculty understands that your continuing education is an important part of your professional development and personal mission, we thought long and hard about beneficial information to make your mission even sweeter. Understanding what the patient goes through after she is told “you have breast cancer” is an important aspect of a successful mammography experience. You will learn the truth about breast cancer in young women and how breast cancer treatment plans are determined. Positioning is a must in any mammography CE course, and is a major focus of this one. Starting with positioning in the real world, continuing with expert image critique, and positioning beyond the CC and MLO views you will increase you skill level. Join us and share your own positioning tricks of the trade. The course will conclude with an uplifting motivational "must have" ending to a perfect day. You will answer the patients favorite question “Do you do this all day for a living, honey?”
Join us for a great day of pink ribbons and hope! Don't wait register now!
