Come join us for a new mammography class designed for the busy mammographer. This mammography class will bring you a wealth of information on image quality, positioning and pathology. The “positioning” will focus on the challenging augmented and post-surgical breast.  You will find yourself enjoying the artifact guessing game as you are visually introduced to numerous artifacts in digital mammography.  You will gain knowledge of genetic testing for breast cancer along with valuable information on pregnancy associated and high risk breast cancers.   Finding these breast cancers early is the key and this is where you play critical role.  You will be able to associate the value of mammography as you learn about the Practice Guideline for Determinants of Image Quality and their role in Achieving Quality in Digital Mammography.
