MEETING DESCRIPTION:
This seminar is designed to update your skills and improve your understanding of filmless digital imaging and PACS (Picture Archiving & Communication Systems). As a result of breakthroughs in the ability to capture medical images in digital form and the ever expanding capabilities of computer technology to store, transmit and display images, barriers to the utilization of information technology in radiology are being rapidly eliminated. This revolution in how we acquire, communicate and store images will have a profound impact on the profession. Today’s radiology personnel must be educating themselves to utilize this rapidly advancing technology and participate in it’s appropriate implementation.
This program provides 8 hours of Category A continuing education credit for radiologic technologists recognized by the ARRT and various licensure states. A certificate of attendance will be provided for each individual upon completion of the seminar. All attendees must attend the entire seminar to receive full credit.
