MEETING DESCRIPTION:
At the completion of the program the participant should be able to:

1. Explain the basic fundamentals of U/S physics/instrumentation.
2. Describe routine scan protocols, and measurements for performing transabdominal GYN, endovaginal scanning, and obstetric applications.
3. Identify normal and abnormal imaging characteristics of ovarian and uterine pathology.
4. Identify normal fetal anatomy, apply appropriate measurement techniques & discuss commonly seen fetal abnormalities.
5. Perform a biophysical profile examination.
6. Apply the information discussed in a clinical setting, under supervised conditions until an accepted level of proficiency has been attained.
7. Increase knowledge and confidence to perform and/or interpret examinations.
